Hat Secured with a Pin

Isn't this a lovely etching of a bygone era of two young ladies securing their hats with hat pins! 

I've always loved the work of Renoir, his carefully chosen subjects and pleasing compositions that give us insight into life at the time. I was a teenager when I saw my first Renoir and have been hooked ever since, thank you Miss Kirby for taking me to the NGA on a school excursion!!

Date: 1892.

Size: 9.1 x 13.4 cm, frame 60 x 65 cm.

Condition: excellent with no signs of aging, this work has been preserved using top quality materials, art glass and is presented with fabric inlays and is in a thick decorative gilt frame.
