You don't have to be a racing enthusiast to appreciate the movement in this large scale painting! (although even better if you do love racing) It is a beautiful piece that cleverly captures the excitement of the race coming along the finishing stretch. Stewart has deliberately left out sections of the horses and the jockeys which helps build the energy within the work and adds emphasis to the frantic pace of the horses. Overall this is a lovely painting that would look stunning in any home.
