Guy Warren (1921-2024)

Guy Warren predominately lived and worked in Sydney and had a career that spanned over 80 years! He taught at the University of Sydney and Sydney College of the Arts. Warren won several art prizes including the AGNSW Trustees’ Watercolour Award (Wynne Prize Exhibition) in 1980 and the Archibald Prize for portraiture in 1985. His works are in many collections all over the world such as the British Museum and the Westpac Collection in New York. Examples of Warren’s work can be found in the collections of most Australian regional art galleries as well.  Guy Warren is a highly collectable artist.

Condition: this artwork has a slightly aged appearance as the paper has slightly discoloured during the past 50 something years, there is also a small patch of foxing.
